All Dressed Up And No Place To Go

This was Inauguration Day for the system. Inland Power, our electric utility company arrived and "blessed" the system. We are now legally tied into the US power grid. For anyone buying "Green Tag" power, you are surely getting a few electrons that were generated here on the R J Ranch.

Having said the above, the weather today was absolutely terrible: Rain, rain and more rain. Almost half an inch, pretty evenly spread over the whole day. You can see by the chart, it was the lowest in solar radiation and the lowest in electrical production, for a full day's work.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~//~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Time connected to the grid: 13 hrs
Electricity produced: 4.9 kWH's
Solar Energy: 225 Langley's (A Langley is a unit of measurement for total solar radiation)
Utility meter reads: 2226
Weather: Rainy all day. In a word: Terrible!
